Demo site: DemoResto Sàrl is a fictitious company. The forms work, but no email is actually sent and no payment is made. Do not enter real or sensitive personal data.
This policy explains which personal data we process when you use this site, book a table, order online or write to us, and what your rights are. It is based on the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), in force since 1st September 2023.

Data we process
- Bookings : name, email, phone, date, time, number of guests, preferred area and remarks.
- Online orders : contact details, delivery address, dishes ordered, collection or delivery method and payment status.
- Events : name, email, phone, number of guests and comment.
- Requests (private dining, contact, job application): the information entered in the form, for example a link to your CV.
- Gift cards : buyer, recipient, amount, message and use of the card.
- Technical data : IP address, browser, pages visited and date of the visit, in the server logs.
The allergies and intolerances you tell us about are health data, and therefore sensitive data. We use them only to prepare your meal, with your consent.
Why we use them
To confirm and manage your bookings, prepare and deliver your orders, answer your requests, process job applications, keep our accounts and keep the site secure. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising without your consent.
How long we keep them
- Bookings and event registrations: 12 months after the date.
- Orders and invoices: 10 years, as required by accounting law (art. 958f CO).
- Contact and private dining requests: 24 months.
- Job applications: 3 months after the end of recruitment, unless you agree to a longer period.
- Server logs: 30 days.
Recipients
Your data is processed by our team and by service providers who help us run the site: the host (Hostinger), the email delivery service and, for orders paid online, the payment provider. They act on our instructions. When data is processed outside Switzerland, it is in a country offering adequate protection or with recognised contractual safeguards.
Cookies and audience measurement
The site uses technical cookies needed for it to work: session, cart and, on this demo site, a cookie that keeps your trial separate from other visitors’. Audience measurement cookies are set only with your consent, given or refused in the consent banner (Nik Cookie Consent) shown on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser’s cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, have it corrected, deleted or handed over in a common format, and object to its processing. Write to us at contact@demoresto.nikdimon.com; we reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, access to the administration is personal and restricted, and card data never passes through our servers.
